Compatible with old Weiser cylinder
The lockset is compatible with the old Weiser cylinder. I had no trouble rekeying it to match my existing locks. I did not want to update all my locks to the new Smart Key style.

Yes, you can purchase this item and have it keyed to your existing Weiser Lock Handles. We would simply need the key code for your current keys at the time of order placement. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Thank you. Can we do smart key or is WR5 the code?A. WR5 is not your key code. It is most likely designating that you have an old Weiser keyway so in order to get new locks keyed the same we would need your existing key code. It is a 5 digit code that can be acquired by taking your existing key down to any place that makes keys & having them pull it for you.
